I was unable to make the trip to the Uchida Coffee Farm so I had to take my own virtual tour. After researching the history of the farm and seeing various images related to the farm, I was disappointed I did not make it. I was struck at how the farm looked so simple and beautiful. I was also taken with the story of its founder Daisaku Uchida. It was a classic tale of how hard work and patience can lead to great things. I was inspired by their work and decided to create a small iMovie of their story.
You missed a very nice tour. As a teacher I was also impressed by Mr. Uchida's efforts to educate himself and to help educate others.
